TITLE: “Zomer Zoetheid” (Summer Sweetness)

FLORAL SUMMER PORTRAIT WITH SWALLOWS, INDIAN CREST AND ZINNIAS

Painting portraits are out of my confortzone, but working on this bold pink floral portrait was so much fun! I added Indian Crest flowers again, I love them a lot. And for the first time I added Zinnias! I never had them in my garden, but they are soooo amazing. You might have noticed that this painting has a black frame instead of a wooden floating frame. I visited the museum SInger Laren with an art friend and was really inspired with their colorful exposition 'liefde voor kleur' I just loved the black frames a lot, so I had to make a colorful piece with black frame myself! And here it is!
